Preface
In order to allow visitors to gain a full understanding of the importance of Koji Pottery in temples, the museum placed Koji Pottery works of 8 temples in the “Koji Pottery & Architecture Decoration Area.” Most of the Koji Pottery works use mythological stories, historical and folk stories as the themes, which together with varied scenes and rich character images, make the works better and more readable. The museum compiled these stories behind Koji Pottery into books for visitors’ reference.
